Below is the rubric that I made up for my students for their typing lessons. I grade them each day on the five typing techniques and participation in the lessons. I went over it today so they could see how I grade them and I think it helped them understand exactly what I'm looking for from them each day!

Your middle school students are provided clear instruction in person and in written. Your rubric clearly spells out what students need to do in order to receive a 4 in each category. If students do receive a lower score, they can tell by the rubric how they could improve for the future lessons.
